Overview

The Berber promenade and the tourist sector

The seaside area is reserved exclusively for tourism… greenery and flowers are abundant there, a magnificent seaside alley lined with cafés and restaurants is the best place to walk or have a drink facing the ocean…
The port

Named 1st sardine port in the world and 1st fishing port in Morocco. Visit the trawlers’ port, sardine boats’ port, shipyard for the construction of wooden boats, the fish auction (the wholesale sale of fish – in the morning). The small motor boats, the fishing boat maintenance and restoration site, the commercial port, and the fishermen’s restaurants behind the port offer the opportunity to taste several varieties of very fresh fish and shellfish.
Unfortunately, in recent years, the authorities have banned access to the port for tourists and unauthorized locals, for unknown reasons.

The Kasbah

The Kasbah, the Citadel, (Agadir Oufella, in Berber: Agadir from above), a fortified village or a large fortified house on a height.)! Ancient city with mysterious origins.. built at the beginning of the 16th century by the Portuguese (called Santa Cruz).. in 1540.. taken over by Sultan Mohamed Cheikh Saàdi, the ancient Kasbah is located on a hill 236 m above the sea… we have a beautiful panoramic view of the magnificent 9Km beach of fine, blond sand and the entire white city, Agadir.
Old neighborhoods & Residential neighborhoods
Completely destroyed. (Founty, Ihchach and Talborjt),
Residential districts: Cité Suisse, Nouveau Founty, Nouveau Talborjt…

The mosque

Visit and photos of the exterior.
In Morocco, mosques are places of worship, and prohibited to non-Muslims.
The Argan Tree Cooperative
A visit for information is essential… the argan tree is a mythical tree and unique in its kind, and which grows nowhere in the world except in the region of Agadir… it has become a species protected by the state Moroccan, a true local product of Morocco and UNESCO world intangible cultural heritage. Edible Argan oil is very fragrant and twice as rich as olive oil in vitamin A and omega 3 & 6.. and cosmetic Argan oil is an excellent Anti-wrinkle, it is also used against brown spots and for hair and dry skin. It also offers a pleasant massage.
Optional service and at the customer’s request.

The Medina of Agadir

A reconstituted Medina in Agadir…
6 kilometers from the city center, we will explore the Medina of Agadir, a magnificent and spectacular place, respecting the ancestral architecture of the Souss Massa region. This reconstruction of the old medina of Agadir, unfortunately destroyed by the earthquake of 1960, is an almost obligatory stopover when visiting Agadir.
At the beginning of the 90s, the Italian architect Coco Polizzi put all his energy and know-how into this gigantic project. The new Medina is a place that has retained its charm thanks to strict respect for traditional construction techniques.

The Medina of Inezgane & The Berber Souk

Located 12 km south of Agadir, an old town “Medina” called INEZGANE, it was not affected by the Agadir earthquake of 1960. There are small labyrinthine streets, Berber characters who live there on a daily basis, most of them keeping their traditional clothing, street vendors selling vegetables, fruits and fish on carts…
This is also where you can admire or buy several items of Moroccan Crafts (rich and varied) with a large choice and an attractive price! Spices, dried fruits, traditional clothing, slippers, jewelry and others…

I am 6 feet tall and 220 lbs. This shirt fit me perfectly in the chest and shoulders. My only complaint is that it is so long! I like to wear polo shirts untucked. This shirt goes completely past my rear end. If I wore it with ordinary shorts, you probably wouldnt be able to see the shorts at all – completely hidden by the shirt. It needs to be 4 to 5 inches shorter in terms of length to suit me. I have many RL polo shirts, and this one is by far the longest. I dont understand why.

The shirt was not the fabric I believed it to be. It says Classic Fit but was made like the older versions, not the soft cotton like my others. I don’t understand how the labels are the same but a completely different shirt. Oh well, stuck with it now.
